Pearl Fiction (Per Störby from Zeigeist) releases his debut album Painted Wolf tomorrow (on Bibbi Records/Sony); he just uploaded the title track onto his Youtube, which you can stream above. I heard Malin from Niki & the Dove, Stefan from The Sound of Arrows and Per's partner in crime Kitty Jutbring all feature on the album.

Run is the new icy Scandinavian synthpop single by Pearl Fiction , one of the three members of Zeigeist before they split up in 2009. He released two singles about a year ago and then kind of disappeared - now his debut full-length Painted Wolf is set to be released on January 25. Run sounds an awful lot like Zeigeist, but that is obviously a very good thing.
It is always sad when a band splits up - unless of course the solo projects than spin out from its demise are by and large amazing. Pearl, earlier member of the electronica band Zeitgeist , calls himself Pearl Fiction going solo. He has released his debut single, "The Ruby Fever", a song that breathes the eighties and Prince. I know nothing of Pearl Fiction other than it is a solo project of a member of a band I also know little to nothing about, Zeigeist , which is no longer around. If pearl plays the cards right, as is done with Insomnia below, we'll undoubtedly be seeing a lot more of the guy. It kind of has a Prince vibe to it....which pretty much means I will love it. Pearl Fiction is the solo project of Pearl from the much missed Zeigeist (r.i.p.). We won't dwell too much on what happened and the drama, but we are anticipating some good things from this.
