As a Jimi Hendrix fan, I just have to share these videos I stumbled across, featuring former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan and Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready jamming on classic Hendrix tunes. I found this gem a couple nights ago while looking up songs Pearl Jam covers to potentially use in a show. It struck me as interesting that of all the covers Pearl Jam would do, they would do one of "The Dock of the Bay." Not because "The Dock of the Bay," is a bad song, but on of soul legend, Otis Redding's, hit songs might not mesh well with Pearl Jam.
