The Gaslight Anthem have been influenced quite a bit by fellow Jerseyan Bruce Springsteen , from the style of music they play to where they play it at . Now, they're even taking The Boss' lead when it comes to surprise guests. Just two weeks after Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder appeared during Springsteen and co.'s shows at Wrigley Field, he was on stage with The Gaslight Anthem at Pensacola Beach, FL's DeLuna Fest. Together, they performed Pearl Jam's "State of Love and Trust", and you can catch the fan footage below.

Well here's an interesting combination. Pearl Jam 's Jeff Ament has teamed up with musician Joseph Arthur to form a new project they've called RNDM (pronounced random). Their debut album, cleverly titled Acts , will hit stores on October 30th. Check out the video for "Modern Times" here: RNDM play Lee's Palace in Toronto on November 11th.

Once again , Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band brought out Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello at various points during the second and final night of the group's visit to Wrigley Field in Chicago. By now, you should've seen the mash-up performance from last weekend's Made In America festival where co-headliners Pearl Jam were joined on stage by Jay-Z, which lead to a live version of  Jay's "99 Problems" during their performance of "W.M.A." (which is taken from their 1993 album Vs.) . RNDM (pronounced "random") is a new musical group featuring Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament, singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur and drummer Richard Stuverud. The band will release their debut album, "Acts", on Tuesday, October 30th in CD, vinyl LP and digital formats via Monkeywrench Records/RED in the U.S. and Canada, and Monkeywrench/One Little Indian Records for the rest of the world.In support of "Acts", RNDM will embark on a 16-date North American tour, which kicks off November 2nd in Brooklyn, NY and ends November 27th in Seattle, WA.
