Made with more intention than the fluffiness of a bed spread and two cotton pillows scooped together, AXXE teams up with Pelifics to create a Wonder Woman spin of electric disco ball magnitude. Keeping the Canadian heritage physically powerful are Azari & III having their highlights done by AXXE once again. BONUS!
After the successful release of the awesome 'Lifetime Pt 1' EP featuring Electric Youth and Human Life , Sweden's Pelifics are gearing up to follow up with part two of the set. The lead track on part two is 'He Was The Best' which features the jet setting AXXE and is pure ElectroPop heaven. The '80's sounds on this track could quite easily fit onto Top Of The Pops circa 1985, it's got that second generation SynthPop/first generation Italo sound, characterised by a vintage SynthPop sound influenced by new European dance music. Wrap [...]

From the critically acclaimed 'Lifetime Pt. 1' EP on Brilliantine records comes the new video for Pelifics & Electric Youth 's 'Wish It Could Last'. I love a video with a narrative, and this Peter Diaz directed clip certainly has that. The 'Lifetime Pt 1' EP is out now with part 2 coming in April. Buy Pelifics' music from: [...]

Oslo's Pelifics gets the pen & paper out to write a light, indispensable offering which doesn't leave much room for manoeuvre whatsoever. Syncing the 80's style with today's Logic & Cubase plugins is fundamental to Pelifics nature about why those much loved synth arrangements and additions of a righty timed vocal, can always make hearing tracks that feature a cow bell sample glide excellently over ones ears. Here are two more tracks from his most recent "Lifetime EP" Vol. 1.
Back again with the monthly mix, Boner Jams. February had a lot of great songs, so much so that I had troubles keeping up with all my emails and postings. I just didn't have a chance to post a... Read the rest on Speakerboxxx.com

Brilliantine Records is proud to present the latest offering from Oslo producer Pelifics (alias of Eirik Seu Stokkmo) as an EP in two potent acts. Expanding on his already notorious style, Lifetime Volume 1 provides us with his markedly fresh combination of disco and house, infused with a strong homage to 1980's pop and funk. The result is a series of compositions that leave the listener happily oscillating between sounds of youthful nostalgia and the future sound of disco. The first track of the EP is the ethereal "Wish It Could Last", a collaboration with 2011 [...]
This week sees the release of Pelifics 's first of two incoming 'Lifetime' EPs on Toronto's Brilliantine records. We previewed one of the EPs tracks in January that saw Norway's Pelifics teaming up with Human Life , now you can have a listen to what is arguable the most eagerly awaited track on the EP, his collaboration with Electric Youth , 'Wish It Could Last'. The track is pretty awesome, a bouncy retro ElectroPop track. Just slightly minimal and just slightly melancholy but all fun. Built on Bronwyn's classic sounding vocals and [...]

Oslo producer Pelifics , aka Eirik Seu Stokkmo, dropped today his new three-track EP "Lifetime Vol. 13 on Brilliantine , which combines his love for disco and house sounds, with a strong homage to 1980's pop and funk. The lead track of the release is the ethereal and beautiful "Wish It Could Last", a collaboration with Toronto's Drive Soundtrack darlings Electric Youth. It sounds so good. The EP also includes the track "Can't Promise Anything", featuring Human Life, and "Magic". In his own words: "The track "Magic" started off as [...]

The Norwegian group Pelifics is set to release a two part EP, one next month and the other in March. The March edition will bring us a collaboration with Canada's AXXE , who I had the unique opportunity to interview last year . The February portion will feature two new tracks, one with Electric Youth and another with Human Life . Human Life first came on my radar with " Wherever We Are ," a seriously 80s disco track with vocals to match. These Californians get their collaboration on in "Can't Promise Anything," a track [...]
Toronto's Brilliantine records have given us the first taste of what to expect from the highly anticipated new release from Norway's Pelifics . The collection of collaborations is split over two EPs due out in February and March. March's release will contain tracks featuring JD Samson (Le Tigre/MEN), AXXE and Miss Plug Inn, while next months EP holds one track featuring Electric Youth and this flip side, 'Can't Promise Anything' featuring Human Life . 'Can't Promise Anything' is driven by a Funked our digital bassline that makes for a sparse ElectroPop backing for Human [...]

The Norwegians Pelifics are releasing nostalgia-tinged disco mastery including some favorite names of Nite Versions - Electric Youth and Human Life . 'Can't Promise Anything' featuring Californians Human Life can already be streamed - it has some cool 802s vibes and amazing girl/boy vocals. [...]

So I posted that Britney Spears remix as a bonus in the last post because I know you guys have been longing for more B-rit here on Tracasseur. Which also is the reason why I declared this Friday "Britney Spears remixes Friday" when tweeting the last post. Actually, that's half true. Being in a DJ duo with Jonny sometimes makes us quarrelling like a married couple. One thing we argue about is whether it's ok to play Britney remixes. Me, being slightly more ironic and slightly less self-concious, love seeing hipsters dancing to a track and [...]
