As mentioned , Lil Wayne and T.I. are going on a tour which hits the NYC-area on July 19 at Jones Beach, July 24 at PNC Bank Arts Center, and July 31 at Comcast Theatre . Today Pet Shop Boys announced that they'll be bringing their iconic brand of electric energy stateside for their Electric Tour . The duo will trek through South America, Russia, Europe and Japan before hitting Miami on September 12th for the first of 18 North American dates. That particular leg wraps up on October 12 in Los Angeles. (And, don't worry, Canadian Petheads — Neil and Chris are also bringing their show to Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.) Pet Shop Boys will release their 12th studio album, Electric , on July 15. The album comes less than a year from 2012's Elysium and will be their first since leaving Parlophone to start their own label, x2 . The album was produced by Les Rhythms Digitales' Stuart Price who co-wrote Madonna's "Hung Up," wrote music for the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony, and has worked with New Order, Scissor Sisters and others.
