Norah Jones ' recent single "Miriam" burns slowly, revealing dark undercurrents over the course of a restrained four and a half minutes. Peter Bjorn and John don't really have time for dark undercurrents, especially when there are a few weeks of summer left. The sunny Swedes inject Norah's "Miriam" with a gleeful energy on this upbeat reworking. Give it a listen below.

The last we saw of Norah Jones's Danger Mouse-collabo "Miriam" was the official video , which featured her in her Sunday finest sitting in a paddle boat with a bloody oar, and eventually, a disturbing explanation for these facts. Poor Miriam!
