It's really superb when you find out about bands you hadn't really heard of before, especially when it's through compilations that feature previously unreleased tracks and exclusives from current artists who respected and were influenced by them. So props to Pets With Pets for consenting to let Feraltone use the brilliant 'We Only Found This Place' and School Of Seven Bells for the exclusive 'Device Feur M'. The fun doesn't end there. My Dad used to tell me that The Presets were just ripping off Depeche Mode . I didn't really get it until I really started listening to them. This track I first saw on Rage years and years ago, then on the Anton Corbijn directors DVD and it kinda just stuck in my head. I suggest watching the video here first, its just a perfect example of Corbijn's ability to create a non-sensical narrative yet have it compliment the track so well.
