This week I have been taking a stroll down memory lane, recapping some of my most successful Sunday Mix Tapes. The next new one will be number 200, you know. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that this is a very exciting time for us all. Although I must say, if I'm still doing this after 200 more mix tapes I might have to consider making some big changes in my life. After mix tape number 100 I decided to make a change. It was January 14th, 2008 when I unilaterally (is that what you'd call [...]

What is there to do on a Sunday? I get home from work (after putting in almost two hours of overtime) and everyone's gone to Sunset Junction to hear shitty bands and eat/drink price-gouged food/drinks. It's dead quiet in the apartment, there's no furniture or anything here since the old roommates moved out, and I'm contemplating laying on the floor and closing my eyes for a while. Unfortunately, the weird bug bites on my ankles make it so I'm not interested in putting my face anywhere near the carpets, at least not until we're certain there isn't anything [...]
I know it's a bit late, but check out Swan Fungus' 106 Sunday Mixtape. It should get me back into the swing of things. Tracks: 1. Mogwai - Batcat - (buy this album) 2. Alice Cooper - [...]

Well, today is September 21st. We're not in peril. The stock market has not collapsed. As of this moment, the Dow, Nasdaq and S&P are all up fractions of a percent. When I awoke this morning I imagined the response from fringe news organizations like Information Liberation would be a story about how we were all saved at the last second by a super-mutant fish-bat from beyond the stars. Instead, their website was down. Maybe that's the real act of terror perpetrated on 9/21. I looked around various websites, but the only object in the news that was [...]
I'm exhausted. The nights are getting later and the days ahead are filled with arduous tasks that will demand my full attention. There's no sense in sharing all the gory details. It's quite inconsequential, really. You're just hear for the music anyway. RULES for the uninitiated noobs : With 100MB of webspace, I give birth to a weekly compilation for your iPods or Zunes or Kingklangs or whatever the industry is currently pushing on you. Sometimes there will be themes that link all the songs together, other times I'll just throw songs at a wall (not [...]
