We've been waiting for this release to come out, and finally here it is. The Rapture return with another killer 123 which features two brand new remixes of the title track of their 2011 album, "In The Grace Of Your Love". Two superb reworks by our favorite Los Angeles-based duo Poolside and Spanish producer Miguel Barros, aka Pional . Both adding their unique signature sound to the track. Serious vibes. Two great remixes for The Rapture's "In The Grace Of Your Love" that just went live on DFA Records' SoundCloud page. Remix number #1 is done by the Spanish producer Pional who's a Hivern Discs/Permanent Vacation signee. The second one was finished by the LA based daytime disco duo Poolside (Future Classic/Eskimo Recordings). You may know them from their great tune " Do You Believe? " or Aeroplane's monthly mixes. Debukas' slow-burning "Golden Mind" is the best introduction to his "Pleasure Patterns" EP, out yesterday. The Glasweigan has been compared to similarly Pitchfork-adored John Talabot, but Debukas brings a deeper, more satisfying edge to his productions. "Golden Mind", in particular is wonderfully restrained, until the slippery high end eventually laid behind the chorus brings the song to an understated euphoric climax. Having served his time in various bands and more recently providing vocals on a few Simon Baker tunes, perhaps it's not surprising that Debukas' solo material came out rather fully formed. His past also provides clues as to why his second ever solo release, the Pleasure Patterns EP , bears the polished production and intricate yet relatively intuitive arrangements of an act like Hot Chip. We first heard of Debukas last year after he'd just been unveiled by 2020 Vision and we were mightly impressed with his DEUKAS001 debut. The Glasgow based producer is back again with his Pleasure Patterns EP which will be coming out on 2020 Vision on the 19th March and what better way to get some hype than with a free Pional Remix?
