Sunday was a day of rediscovery for me. It had been years since I listened to Doolittle , the 1989 breakthrough album by Pixies, in its entirety. So many that I'd nearly forgotten what a fantastic album it is. Brooklyn-based musician Jason Drake, aka Cassettes Won't Listen , is continuing his love of '80s alt-rock with yet a cover of one of the decade's most influential bands, Pixies . This time around, he has let loose his take on the Pixies' "Hey" from their 1989 album Doolittle . Recuerdo que hasta hace algunos aos el ver a Pixies en vivo era algo un tanto imposible, digamos que la unica manera que me venia a la mente en ese entonces para poder asisitir a sus shows era el viajar a otra parte del mundo para poder toparlos pero por suerte, hace dos aos pisaron nuestro pais y pude disfrutar de dos muy buenas presentaciones de Pixies las cuales de inmediato se me quedaron plasmadas en la mente.
