In something of a celebration this week, between two weekends of the 2012 Coachella Festival, the Pixies have posted a free live EP. The tracks come from the band's performance at the 2004 Coachella Festival, and includes 3 songs from their 1989 album Doolittle , and one from their debut Come on Pilgrim .

Pixies may not have given us a new studio album in over 20 years, but that hasn't stopped them from getting an entire career's worth of extra mileage (not to mention money) out of the old stuff.
