Con su violencia acostumbrada nos entregan 4 temazos que si suenan en algún momento de la noche es probable que ocasione que algunas personas decidan tirar heces a las paredes. Useless a sorti l'artillerie lourde et s'est chargé d'inviter Les Petits Pilous, Das Glow ainsi que le belge Gtronic, qui vient de sortir son devastateur "Ironman" Ep et qui sera pour la première fois à Paris. When The Plasticines took the stage for their set as the opening act at The Viper Room on Friday night, you could almost hear the tongues of every gentleman, or at least those brought up on dirty movies and rock and roll, hit the floor. The three girls standing above them—and the fourth seated at the drum kit—were the epitome of three irresistible things: they were pretty, talented, and very, very young.
I was warped. My family in 3oh!3 is out on the warped tour again this summer so go check em out if you get a chance. They put on an incredible show. Also you'll notice me jumpin around in that photo with Victoria from Cobra Starship. I'll be hitting the road with them later this year alongside the plasticines and friday night boys.
The Nylon Records showcase/tour was hitting up the Granada with a slew of bands the other night so we stopped by to check out what the fuss was about. I missed the first opener, Jaguar Love, though some of their members made appearances during Patrick Wolf's set and they looked very....costumed. Anyway, the 3 bands I did see all had something different about them but the one thing they all had in common was that they brought insane energy to the stage for a very sparsely populated Granada and I'm not sure you could get a better [...]
We were excited to be hitting up the Nylon Summer Tour at Antones, as the bill featured the likes of Jaguar Love , Plasticines and Patrick Wolf . I'd like to take a moment to thank my peers at the LimeWire Music Blog for turning me on to Patrick Wolf over the past few weeks. I've immersed myself in his catalog and was certainly excited to hear of his upcoming gig at the Highline Ballroom, appearing as part of Nylon 's summer showcase.
