It's quite amazing how songs can pass you by, especially ones as brillant as Embrace . How this slipped through the net I'll never know. perhaps it's something to do with the slew of greaty Aussie bands this year. Okay this track is pretty strong when it comes to DJ/producer and over all indie-blog-star-power . The original track is by Australians PNAU featuring the very pretty and talented Ladyhawke from New Zealand. There's not one but two producers on the remix. Another Australian, Miami Horror , known for laying down savoury beats over just about anything jumps into their hands. Australian glitter pumpers PNAU have been heavily bloggable for a while now, more artcore than hardcore their track Embrace is a delicious synth pop track that swirls and dreams across a dancefloor like ABBA on acid. It's now been given a bit of a banger make over from a Fred Falke and Miami Horror collaboration... but in a very sympathetic way. I found this track over at Discodust and it's certainly a must listen to. Fred Falke continues to blow my mind over and over again. Truly an amazing dude. I would love to see this guy come to NYC again. That's Ladyhawke's voice in the background btw.
