One of the coolest and most maddening things about Arthur Russell's catalog is how nothing ever sounds finished and everything begs to be rethought from a different angle. In that spirit comes a mind-bending re-interpretation of the classic "Kiss Me Again" which evolves through various psych-y, drone-y, beautiful passages that refract elements of the original and, as far as I'm concerned, could go on slowly unfolding for a happy forever. Here's an edit I made that amps up the most straight-up pretty aspect of its musical cubism. Polmo Polpo - [...]
Ace is the "wild guy in the group" who likes doing mad trickz on his bike, while "AZN Thunda" AKA Brett has a "hard exterior but a soft inside, just like mochi (being from Asia of course)". This is the bio provided of Teengirl Fantasy – actually consisting of Oberlin College students Nick Weiss and [...]
Some things bear worth repeating. Feu Thérèse is one of them, as I feel exposing their music right now would be dramatically more effective than it was in 2007, when I found myself gushing over their debut, Ça Va Cogner. They had apparently split that same year, but their permanent elusiveness had prevented anyone from [...]

OK, so there's these dudes. Two dudes to be precise. And they make music. You with me so far? Alright, and they call themselves Turtle Ambulance (TMNT reference perhaps? I fuckin hope so!). Now here's the kicker...they have a MySpace page where you can actually listen to their music . Crazy, I know. So these Turtle Ambulance guys actually make really good music. Stuff that I like to listen to and maybe you would like to listen to. It's loopy and hypnotic and maybe even a little dancy. Also super-duper awesome. [...]

It's now 9:00 AM, the drugs are wearing off and I shall soon be retiring for what should be a calm, meditative weekend...even if it is only Thursday morning...wow, that's pathetic. No, what is more pathetic is thinking someone will read this. No, that's great, I can type whatever I want and sing it too..."I heart nazis, poop-hands, abortion-abortion, I want Ann Coulter inside me, poop-hands again, I steal silverware and batteries, cops are useless (unless your my cousin Jeff, and in that case, Jeff keep making the family and the force [...]

(THE MEMORY OF MY BONES FLYING UP INTO YOUR HANDS.) If Tom Cruise were to play himself in a movie about his life would he really need to act? Not sure I really care to be honest but I wonder how Sandro Perri felt when he decided to put a new spin on some of his own back catalogue when he was performing as Polmo Polpo. To make it interesting he ditched the electronics in favour of the acoustic guitar so the otherworldly compilation of artificial
Because GIS tragically bricked with regards to the real prize , which I swear on my life I've actually seen Polmo Polpo, "Kiss Me Again And Again" Dinosaur L, "Kiss Me Again" (version) (ripped at 320kbps) Dinosaur L, "Kiss Me Again" (ripped at 320kbps) As far as I can see it, vinyl only serves two functions in the age of digital music. The first is pretty obvious: [...]
