One part Jack Conte , one part Nataly Dawn , they've gained notoriety for their catchy originals and quirky covers of pop songs, as well as their ability to make eye-grabbing music videos. Although Jack [...]

Watch new 'Call Me Maybe' covers from Pomplamoose, Ben Howard, Miracles of Modern Science, the Baseballs, and Bullet and Snowfox.

We know you obviously have had Carly Rae Jepsen 's "Call Me Maybe" and Gotye 's "Somebody That I Used To Know" on repeat all summer long, so why not kill two birds with one stone and listen to them both at the same time? Pomplamoose (the Internet's go-to adorable musical duo before Karmin came along) have conjured up a satisfying mashup of the two #1 hits. All thats missing is a few bars of Maroon 5 's "Payphone" and [...]

Pomplamoose are back after a long break with a new ‘videosong’ Don’t Stop Loving Me . The duo has apparently been spending a lot of time off late listening to EDM and this song is their first experiment with that genre of music. Not bad at all for a first attempt hmm, what do you guys think?

Foxtails Brigade have released a new video shot by Jack Conte of YouTube darlings Pomplamoose . It's apparently the first of four videos that they plan to do together. The other three will be released on Foxtails Brigades' YouTube channel . The video is shot very much in the Pomplamoose style, where what you hear is what you see — the person and instrument making every single sound at some point makes a cameo in the video. In other words, they're keepin it real, and they can prove it. Conte explained the [...]
Pomplamoose are navigating the treacherous waters of YouTube cover song stardom when one has dreams of being more than a cover band. Part of their approach is to record their original work as solo artists Nataly Dawn and Jack Conte separately from Pomplamoose. While that may sound a bit complicated, the approach is keeping their musical identities clear while building a brand that supports their long term career-building activities. TechCrunch's Andrew Keen interviewed Pomplamoose during the recent SF MusicTech Summit. Keen's gee whiz lack of knowledge of the [...]
