2DIY4 Records have been sittin on our radar here at ITDE for a good while now. Since the first 12" drop from Solomun showcasing some of the best deep rnb edits of 2011. Emerging Brooklyn based music/art collective Pass Kontrol just released the video for the song "Gates", which features a dog and an interesting, almost funk bass line surrounded by avant-indie elements and thoughtful falsetto vocals. Video: Patrick Wolf: "Together" (Live at Pool Studios) While watching Patrick Wolf's latest official clip (an animated attempt to "wake the sleep of color" in "The Falcons" ), a different video from his unflinchingly optimistic Lupercalia LP caught my eye: "Together," performed live in a studio with a string quartet.
