With Beavis and Butthead back on the air after nearly a decade-and-a-half hiatus, I thought I'd take a moment to offer my belated thanks to these two badly-drawn boys for turning me on to a couple of bands that otherwise would have escaped my attention. I recently did something I swore I would never do, and that's buy a cassette tape deck. I an not a fan of cassettes. I hate the hiss. I hate how they get worn down and you can start to hear the track on the other side in reverse. But more than anything else, I hate the shitty artwork. Last night I watched the 2009 Sci-fi psycho-thriller, Moon , starring Sam Rockwell. The film is directed and co-written by David Bowie's son, Duncan Jones.
