Flaming Lips ready plans for Record Store Day 2012

Are you surprised that the Flaming Lips would already have plans set for next year's Record Store Day? It really shouldn't be all that shocking. Especially since this is the band that released a six-hour song and is planning on releasing a 24-hour song. Billboard spoke to Wayne Coyne who said that the band is creating a compilation featuring collaborations with artists they've already worked with including Neon Indian, Lightning Bolt and Prefuse 73.
