Primus continued their support behind last year's Green Naugahyde with a two-song set on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night. Les Claypool and co. played "Lee Van Cleef" on TV, saving the "classic rock" oomph of "Jerry Was a Racecar Driver" for the web. Watch both performances below. The Wakarusa Music Festival has revealed the second phase of its 2012 lineup. Pretty Lights, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and an acoustic performance by Bob Weir, Chris Robinson, and Jackie Green led the first phase. Now, the festival has added Primus, Girl Talk, and Umphrey's McGee to the fold. Falling in line with the last two-plus decades of wackiness that has been their career, Primus ' music video for "Tragedy's A' Comin'" is a humdinger. To decipher it adequately would require plumbing the perilous psyche of front man Les Claypool, a feat that requires an old diving suit, TNT, and a speargun. From what we can tell without risking a deeper look and fracturing our own minds, there are lots of lobsters, including Claypool in a giant foam lobster suit, people dancing in restaurants, and a very, very discerning astronaut.
