Florida has been in the news a lot lately, with talk of how it's really a lot like California. The memories I have are of The Sunshine State involve baseball tournaments, Denny's, and losing to my brothers in mini-golf, but from what I gather, they have nice weather. Princeton is a California based band that has this new song called Florida. Apparently, they are a fan of locales. Florida is shimmery, keyboard friendly song that talks about different places in Florida. The vocals remind me of Belle and Sebastian's vocals a bit, not overwhelming, but strong nonetheless. The song overall is pleasant and fits the mood of weather we're currently experiencing in Florida -- bright and cheery. The track will appear on the Cali group’s upcoming 2nd LP, Remembrance of Things To Come. Released right as the Republican Primary (gross) is finishing up in Florida, the track is purposely released to get everybody back to having good feelings about the state.
