Propagandhi are currently writing their follow-up to 2009's Supporting Caste and posted a brief rehearsal clip of a new song over the weekend. Check it out here . The band plan to hit the studio in September .
With their mildy controversial Australian tour wrapped, Propagandhi has posted a brief update on their plans for the year. According to bassist Todd Kowalski: Now we get on to the excitement of preparing to record our next record! We hope to record in September. The band last released Supporting Caste in 2009.
In advance of their upcoming trip to Australia , neo-nazi groups have begun speaking against Propagandhi . Members of nationalist website Stormfront [Wikipedia] have alternately threatened violence and peaceful protests at the band's upcoming shows. A few members have also called for the band to be bottled. How the hell can any band be this damn consistently good? I've been listening to Protest The Hero since 2003, when they first released their Propagandhi influenced EP "A Calculated Use of Sound" and enjoyed watching PTH evolve with each new release (which, by the way, Kezia and Fortress are definitely on my favorite albums list).
