„Post-Punk revival" ist mittlerweile schon eine eigener Tag bei last.fm geworden, und versammelt Bands wie White Lied, Editors, Veil Veil Vanish oder The Orders. Und auch PUBLICS – das Duo kommt aus Moskau, spielt diesen wunderbaren 80er Gitarren-Wave-Sound vorgenannter Bands und hat auch zwei Songs mit den vielversprechenden Titeln «Hamburg» und «Hafen City» im Repertoire. Dass sie all ihre Lieder (bisher 5 an der Zahl) auch noch via Soundcloud kostenlos unter die Leute bringen, rundet es zudem noch ab. Die russische Indieszene blüht also weiter! [...]

It wasn't until other projects outside Mojophenia restricted the amount of time I allowed for reading promotional Emails that I realised there was only a small percentage of Publicity People sending me something I might like to hear, let alone mailing it in a format which was already easily constructed and ultimately Blog friendly. Granted, at times, it was a bit messy, a little bit confused, but it also contained some staggeringly good songs. 'Black Rice' , for example, was surely one of the best singles of the past decade.
