French director / animator Maxime Bruneel creates a vivid, stylized animated world in this fantastic video for Punks Jump Up 's track "Mr. Overtime" (which features Chromeo's Dave 1 on vox). The neon-soaked clip took inspiration from many sources included 802s street film Alphabet City , David Lynch's Lost Highway and Nicholas Winding Refn's Drive . The new-wave, minimalist style matched with the bouncy disco track makes for a combination that absolutely oozes cool.
The fine folks at Moda have just uploaded the entire Punks Jump Up 'Mr Overtime' EP to soundcloud. First of all, check out the fantastic club remix, which for us is already contender for song of the year. It takes the funk hooks of the original straight to the club, with throbbing drums, twanging basslines and plenty beep-y bleep-y goodness. Be sure to check some of the remixes, Mickey tones down some the funk swagger, for more considered Belgium disco vibe, a perfect accompaniment to the other remixes. [...]

Awesome! I'm totally addicted to it.Try to don't shake your head while listening to it, it's impossible. In my opinion is one the best tracks in 2012 so far and will be a big dancefloor hit for sure.
