Last week, we brought you a cover of Pylon's classic "Cool" as covered by Deerhunter, and mentioned that Sleigh Bells' Alexis Krauss would be covering "Yo-Yo" (twice!) by Pylon with help from Sasha Frere-Jones' Calvinist. Well, here are those covers, embedded below. The Calvinist Remix of "Yo-Yo" is especially entrancing, since we hear Krauss vamp and coo over a sparse electro beat. She can do something other than scream like a banshee over blown-out beats. The other remix ("Calvinist Unsaved Mix") is heavier on the vocals, but lighter on the cool factor. Listen below.
