It seems its BOMBS OCLOCK over at Ruben & Ra's place... They are taking a break from the production work on their Retrospective series and letting seasoned edit factory Rayko step in for the 6th instalment in the series. This package is packed with old school 80s synth and so ripe to smash a party with good vibes. Get it from the 27th February!

This is one hell of a mix, full of the dopest underground Hip Hop outta the 90s, featuring the likes of Afu Ra, Crooklyn Dodgers and Alps Cru. It's a real nice collab between two friends outta Bradford, involved with Sinoptic Music (hence the West Yorkshire logo). Hashfinger, who is no stranger to Word Is Bond , mixed the records which were provided by Major Kuts. Together, they are The Stone Cutters. Kasper Glanza Michael Jacaszek released his latest LP, Glimmer , on Ghostly International. I have never heard of more apropos name for an imprint. Back when Looping State of Mind came out, I drew a connection between that release on Jacaszek's magical mix for Resident Advisor. "Dare-Gale" is ambient brilliance. There is something medieval here. Australia's SANGERS & RA second release on Westway is a fine example of the breaks. The booming kick drum and the sharp snares in the opening of the original cut are enough to blast out a bomb shelter. Germany's FUNKANOMICS grinds an equally deep hole with their remix.
