Some artists take years to finally reach a point where they're ready to handle a headlining tour. But for Rachel Platten , it took the success of just one single, her ultra-catchy '1000 Ships,' to catch the ears of her growing audience. This earned her slots opening for artists like David Cook and The Fray. Now after supporting these big acts in their national tours, Platten is headlining her own sojourn across the states. Rachel Platten + Bess Rogers / Club Café 02.28.2012 / Doors 7:00 / $8 Words by Brendan In a modern musical landscape where lovely voices are buffered by a million layers of studio production, auto-tune, and backing tracks, it's genuinely refreshing to find some singer-songwriters who are just baring their voices and their souls for listeners. They have officially become something legitimate and real. It has been a pleasure, and a rewarding experience working with these guys at Big Green Beats. At the end [...]
