Rage Against the Machine will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut with three separate reissues on November 27th. Rage Against the Machine - XX  features a remastered copy of the original album with three B-sides from the era, and will released as a single-disc set, a Special Edition two-CD, one-DVD set, and a Deluxe Box Set featuring two CDs, two DVDs, vinyl, a 40-page booklet and more. El rumor de que Rage Against The Machine podría estar en planes de sacar una nueva producción discográfica, surgieron luego de que un portal de internet de EUA cuestionara al bajista Tim Commerford sobre esta situación saliendo de un café en Malibú California. Commerford tímidamente insinuó que la banda de metal podría grabar su quinto álbum de estudio respondiendo con un "tal vez ... tal vez" cuando se le preguntó si la banda está trabajando en un nuevo material.
