Last night, Goldenvoice posted a message on their Facebook page that read " SAVE THE DATE! Saturday, July 30 in Los Angeles Rage Against The Machine , Muse , Rise Against & More. Stay tuned for details." Now that's a pretty hefty line up for a regular venue! Could this be another Los Angeles festival? Who is going to fill in the "and more" spots? We will be keeping our eyes peeled for more information as it comes. But by all means, please try to keep Saturday, July 30th [...]

Well....this looks promising. Rage Against the Machine along with Muse and Rise Against on the same bill? Our good friends at Consequence of Sound have uncovered a piece of information that was posted on Coachella's Facebook page that says RATM is playing in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 30th and that Muse and Rise Against will provide support. So far, no other details outside of the bands and a date have been revealed. Here's hoping this is actually going to happen. Rage haven't played in the U.S. [...]
It remains to be seen whether Google Translate got it right, but at the very least, there'll be at least one opportunity to see Rage Against the Machine this summer. According to a message posted by Coachella on Facebook (which presumably came from the festival's promoter, GoldenVoice), Rage Against the Machine will team up with Muse and Rise Against for a show in Los Angeles, CA on July 30th. How good is this guy feeling right now? The performance will mark Rage Against the Machine's first North American performance [...]

![[Listen] Chipmunk - "Killing In The Name" Live in the Radio One Live Lounge](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3367933_lg.jpg)
Another out of the ordinary cover happened yesterday in BBC Radio One's Live Lounge. The guest on Fearne Cotton's show was Chipmunk and as per usual we got a tease as to what the young talent may cover and the choices were unusually rocky. In the end it turned out he was covering Rage Against The Machine 's "Killing In The Name". Check out his re-worked and slowed down version below with the help from his backing band. Not what you may normally expect from Chipmunk but the results are pretty entertaining. Plus he did [...]
I bet when Zack de la Rocha was screaming "Fuck you I won't do what you tell me!" towards the end of "Killing In The Name", he secretly hoped that the song would one day be embraced by a university marching band - the epitome of revolution and rebellion. Hit the jump to watch a Rage performance of the song from 1993.
Politically motivated rockers Rage Against The Machine has announced that they are backing former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin for the presidency in 2012, even though she has yet to confirm whether or not she will run for office. The band, who have previously caused controversy by voicing their support for the Zapitista Army of National ... Read More/Discuss on Metal Underground.com

We are almost a quarter of the way through 2011, so it's time for us to announce the front runners for top albums of 2011 (so far). I have to say, it has been a pretty great year already and there are plenty of exciting albums in the pipeline (MMJ, Cults, more Matthew Friedberger solos...!!). I'm especially stoked that three local albums are on the list. Anyway, here we go: TOP ALBUMS OF 2011 (so far...) Braids - Native Speaker Lemonade [...]
George Mason University has the best college band class ever. Hands down. In preparing for pep band, this teacher is showing his students how to rock out to the music styling's of Rage Against The Machine. As Digital Music Insider cleverly quipped, "And now you do what they taught ya." The things to watch out for are the girl in red who is obviously having the time of her life and the guy in the back left, who at 27 seconds, does an unnecessary, yet hilarious spin. Overall, the video [...]

LA's Queen Caveat is an aggressive yet melodic rock band with a leading lady who's no delicate flower.
French electro artist SebastiAn already has a formidable remix rep but his long-awaited debut album has been announced for release in May. The first single 'Embody' has a sumptuous twisted disco vibe to it and is our first glimpse at what to expect in May. It has a lot in common with Justice or more recent Cassius material, nice if a [...]

Download K. So off the top, this was an extremely difficult post to write. It's only around 250 words, but coming up with the words to describe Laidback Luke's show last night was one of the most difficult things I've done in weeks (deciding on what to eat for lunch today was also really difficult). So Laidback went hard as fuck last night at Guvernment. Great show. Track selection was a good mix of old classics such as his remixes of MSTRKRFT's 'Heartbreaker' and of David Guetta's 'When Love Takes Over' plus more recent [...]

Tweet ...is tomorrow (Monday 21st March). It's become fairly standard that Zane Lowe announces the Reading & Leeds Festival line up and this year is no different, listen to it here . After attending Reading in [...]

News According to The Pulse Of Radio, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE guitarist Tom Morello spoke with Spinner.com about playing last week at the massive protests at the state capitol in Madison, Wisconsin, where demonstrators and union members are battling Governor Scott Walker's attempt to strip public unions of collective bargaining rights.
Filed under: News , Exclusive Getty Images Tom Morello has a lot of anecdotes from the time he spent in Madison, Wis. this past week playing for the protestors fighting Gov. Rick Scott's legislation, which Morello calls "anti-union." But there's one that stands out to him. "Tim [Mcllrath] from Rise Against was there, Wayne Kramer, Ike Reilly, and the Street Dogs were there, so I met [...]
