Some times I feel bad when I live in a city and don't know about a band that has been around for bit. Railcars used to just be songwriter Aria Jalali until recently when they became a four-piece and started playing with the Handsome Furs. I'm quite excited about this local (San Francisco) band. Railcars (formerly known as Aria C Jalali, the lead singer's name) has released a 7-inch vinyl EP called Postmodernism! and have another EP in the works which is being produced by Jamie Stewart ( Xiu Xiu ). Originally oriented as a bedroom music project, it soon blossomed into a 4 piece; subsequently, they found themselves opening for Handsome Furs .
