After collaborating with The Streets and Chase & Status, it's time for 24-year-old Birmingham chanteuse Clare Maguire to team up with Loadstar who add some liquid funk magic to the emotionally charged The Shield And The Sword . Tantrum Desire 's take on ShockOne proves that when it comes to dance floor devastation, the London crew are a serious force to be reckoned with, while Arnaud Rebotini , aka the man behind Black Strobe, returns to action with some acid-influenced electro. As for the last track of the day, the name Robert Smith [...]

Word up Boppers. The first track today is some tasty Chicago House by the jack master, DJ Sneak. The original version has a fun female vocal, but I went with the instrumental today because its still very good. This track was released only about 5 years ago, yet it has a sort of timeless sound. When most were pumping out grinding basslines, Sneak was keeping it smooth and funky. DJ Sneak - Funk Erotica (Instrumental Mix) - [...]

In 1997, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Eric Chedéville started up the label Crydamoure. Their approach to house music was different; the vibes very melodic, exotic, and rhythmic. It was one of the first labels to have band and guitar influences in its production. Homem-Christo and Chedéville worked under the alias "Le Knight Club", whose first Crydamoure release was "Santa Claus/Holiday On Ice". The label granted young French artists the opportunity to take their chance, with names such as Play Paul (Thomas Bangalter's brother), Raw Man, Deelat, and Archigram in their roster. With over 20 EP's to [...]

Yo Bopperz. Hitting you with some filtery goodness today. Our first track is a cut from the Crydamoure label by Raw Man. It features a cut up rap sample over a very funky baseline. Nice builds and drops in this one. Raw Man - Lovers - The next is track is by Armand Van Helden, now of Duck Sauce fame. This track was made in the late 90s right when this sound was new [...]

Howdy Boppers. Hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend. Lets get November started with some great jams. Our first track today is by the prolific, NYC based, Armand Van Helden. It's off an old release of his called "Old School Junkies" in 1995. Interestingly, the album is technically by Old School Junkies , but in actuality, he made all the songs under that alias. This song is true to Armand Van Helden's style in that its not just another House track; you'll notice it actually [...]

Yo guys its been a while since I last posted or even came on here. I think its been a month and a half or so? Anyways its been a while and I have my reasons why. All I can say is that my computer life has been really FUBAR the previous month and I needed to lay low for a while as it got really tense and rather mood killing. I do apologize for not being able to update you on this sooner (hell, until the middle of last week I wasn't even on Facebook at all either). [...]

We In Music is a project of Raw Man's (Romain Séo) who collaborated with a few individuals including the likes of Play Paul (Paul De Homem-Christo), Benjamin Diamond (of Stardust) and Curtis (Fabien Lefrançois). The tracks were primarily released off Raw Man's label We Rock Music founded in 2000. A label hyping some great music lately . As an example, check out the always catchy Grandlife above ( video ) and my new favourite remix below. ♫ [...]

I was speaking to Voules recently about older house EP's and how fucking sick the classics are. The tracks that are decades on and still able to move the crowds. One such release was from Cryda Luv ' (Crydamoure) back in 1999 by Raw Man. The label is best known for its half association with Daft Punk artist Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. The Lovers/Number Seven Ep was released as the 8th title from the now famous upstart from France and showcased some of the newest edits of samples that were now doubt cultivated [...]

Yo Boppers. Kickin' off another week with some great House jams. - To kick things off, we've got this garage mix of I Feel Good by UK House producers, Smokin' Beats. This track came out a whole 11 years ago. Great vibe and sounds in this one. Classic drums with a cool dance synth. Smokin' Beats - I Feel Good (N.Y. Club Mix) - To wrap things up, here's a French House banger from 2002. Its by Rawman, aka We In Music. [...]
No idea. Download - Hey Champ - Neverest (Raw Man Remix) Preview -
'Neverest' is the second single from Chicago Indie-ElectroPop act 'Hey Champ! 's forthcoming début album 'Star'. Having toured with such names as Kid Cudi, Sebastian Telliér, & Passion Pit and built up quite a reputation on the music blogs this album is pretty highly anticipated. Check out Raw Man 's pumping Electro reMix of the single. ♫ Hey Champ! - Neverest (Raw Man reMix) (zShare) (MediaFire) You can download 'Neverest' and the previous single, 'Cold Dust Girl', from the band's official site and [...]

Hey Champ are the third greatest thing to come out of Rockford, Illinois. They are actually also three guys in the band, but "Neverest" isn't the third single, but only the second one coming from their full-length debut album "Stars" set to be released July 13 on Townie Records . My colleague Arnie speaks about Hey Champ as Rockford's Cut Copy and put them on his Best of 2009 list with their remix of French Horn Rebellion vs Database. And it was during 2009 it really hit off for Hey Champ due to their [...]

I love Space Disco, or at least these tracks here that I'm posting. I think the literal Space Disco is actually something different (see Lindstrom ), but if you can't call these tracks Space Disco, then something is wrong with the world, or galaxy or whatever. I look at it as starting with Parliament Funkadelic, who used sci-fi / space influences in their music and costumes. They then influenced the early French House dudes to look to space for inspiration, like adopting robot costumes, etc. Enjoy these awesome tracks, all are Golden Bananas due to [...]
Creepy. Anyway, during this recent "not-posting-but-lurking" period, i discovered some cool tracks. And yes, it is a random tracks post, but fear not, as soon as i get my shit done (which should be in about a week), i will make a specific post on a specific artist, but for now, onto the tracks. We start off with a little british band called Delphic. This track is off their debut album called "Acolyte" and guess what, im posting the title track itself! It is nearly 9 minutes of a brilliant progressive track, which starts off [...]

WORD UP BOPPERS! Hope you all are ready for thee Cat's Meow @ Jet Nightclub in Las Vegas. Gonna be very HYPE. Then, when that's done, we can all head over to Crazy Horse 3 where you will greeted with DJ sets by Disco Villains, myself, RAPTOR and Randee Bugga. - First song is nice House track proudly showcasing a talk box performance with a complete 80s funk vibe. Massive remix by Junior Jack which is good for large club [...]
![Straight From The Teet – A Vocal Remix Odyssey [GRAB BAG #3]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/2285547_lg.jpg)
Here we ( earmilk . com ) come across so many tracks and well – it's hard to come up with meaningful postings for every single track we get. In the interest of full disclosure and in the hopes of supporting those who have taken the time to support us – Here is your grab bag, straight from the teet. This weeks grab bag comes in the flavour of damn fine vocal mixes - which is at the core of electro if you ask me. Whenever someone asks me "what is electro" I always bring up the remix [...]

So sorry about no tape last week, things got very busy and I ended up on a mountain. No Internet up there... This weeks tape owes a lot to a post on the Too Many Sebastians blog from which I nabbed three cracking tracks from We In Music, Hey Champ and the Priors. Star of the show though is the In Flagranti remix of Ali Love's Smoke and Mirrors which is perhaps the coolest song of the month, at least. Enjoy =D A remix from the super-talented [...]

It's the holiday season and we all know that you are behind on your schoolwork/shopping/lovemaking /etc so let's skip the niceties and get down to business. Oh, and I cant be bothered to include those "[Original Post]" links that I am sure nobody actually used so for more on an artist just click on their tag link at the bottom of the post. Cool beans?* ♫ The xx - Shelter (Death To The Throne Remix) / I may have joined The xx's train a bit late but [...]

The Sounds [...]
