Some pretty tasty remixes of Cadillac are on their way to keep their endless summer going... From what we've listened to our favourites are from Daniel Bortz and Ray Mang. Bortz lays down a wicked synthy chug to proceedings while Ray Mang takes this down the arms up summery power piano loops road. The lot will be available on vinyl as a double 12 inch with originals and remixes – a Future Classic first! - and in all digital stores.
Recently I've been coming across some fantastic re-edits and remixes of some old favourites from the 70s and 80s. In particular, there's some great work from The Revenge and Dimitri From Paris. The best finds are the more subtle re-edits that retain most aspects of the original and stretch and mould the best parts into something for the dancefloor. I posted Cadillac's debut video for " Dreams " (featuring vocals of Wolf & Cub's Joel Byrne) a month ago. The Australian luxury vehicle marque signed to Future Classic is back with a double 123 self-titled EP which almost makes it an album! Guitar solos, slow mo piano jams and the sounds of balearic, disco, pop and rock - it's really everything you need to play on your computer/iPhone/whatsoever this season. There are a lot of remixes, too - from Ray Mang, Marcos Cabral, The Miracles Club to Daniel Bortz, Prince Rama and Sun Glitters.
Where the hell has this year gone?! A big congratulations to the Spacestation crew for reaching their 1st Birthday party...
