Ray Sharpe - Monkeys' Uncle

Ray Sharpe - Monkeys' Uncle MP3 File Ray Sharpe Monkey's Uncle Jamie - 1128 1959 This is a pretty shameless reworking of Chuck Berry's Rollover Beethoven and while I'm not crazy about the idea of Sharpe claiming composing credit for this, it's still a pretty great song. The Fort Worth, Texas born Ray was one of the few true "black rockabillies" and was aparrently a pretty big influence on fellow Texans Ronnie Dawson and Bobby Fuller. This is the flip of the more well known Linda Lu . Produced by Lee Hazlewood.

1959

1959 he was the sixth person the monkey had hooked in one day Ray Sharpe, Linda Lu. Take one Ray Sharpe, a black rockabilly singer from Fort Worth, Texas, and a good friend of Ronnie Dawson (the pair once thought about teaming up under the name The Oreo Cookies). Then put Sharpe in the studio with a young producer named Lee Hazelwood and session guitarists Duane Eddy and Al Casey. Out of that
