Last Tuesday (9/9/08), Wednesday Records released the latest offering from Evansville, Indiana's Mock Orange [ Official Site , Myspace ], Captain Love . The album was produced in Nashville with producer Jeremy Ferguson (Be Your Own Pet, Josh Rouse), and the record picks up where 2004's Mind Is Not Brain left off and according to some early reviews, might just be Mock Orange's most sophisticated release to date. I was sitting on the couch watching America's Best Dance Crew (because yes, it is ACTUALLY an amazing show) and a commercial came on for Real World's new season: HOLLYWOOD. It's gonna be like a bunk version of The Hills where they go to clubs with names like Seduxion or Velvet and drink on sundays at Barnyard Pete's Farmhouse Brewery. I have said it before and i will say say it again, all blonde girls look the same. I have been sort-of-watching the Real World here and there since the season began.
