Regina Spektor is far from perfect. But she's perfect enough for her fans. Spektor stopped a song for a do-over on two separate occasions during her Thursday night concert at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, admitting she screwed up. Then she gave a sheepish grin and started again as the crowd cheered her on. The show was much more of a concert performance than the last time I saw Regina Spektor in Toronto . The audience was a lot more mature this time. Maybe they've grown up a little. [...]

For Radiohead , as with so many bands formed in high school, it is the team that matters first and foremost, in no small part because of the tight and adept skills each band member has developed throughout their co-evolution and ongoing collaboration. Guitarist and composer Ed O'Brien is celebrated for his distinctive use of effects pedals, and for the harmonies he brings to help create and sustain Radiohead's rich, layered sound; the versatility of drummer Phil Selway has been a key component of their evolution as a modern band, especially as they have moved on to adopt [...]
The album of today is "The Lion's Roar" by First Aid Kit. I have a shameless weakness for Swedish bands and these flickor (girls in Swedish) are no exception

Throughout the year, I keep a running playlist on my iPod with my favorite songs. Back in June we did a half way list , but lately I've been making amendments to my choices. And, since we just happened to have passed the 3/4 mark of 2012, it was a good excuse for a post. Apologies, I Have None - 60 Miles Apologies, I Have None - 60 Miles This one came to me from Barlow, who I immediately messaged to get the name of the band [...]

![[memories] Outside Lands 2012](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4457945_lg.jpg)
It's been three plus days since Outside Lands came to an end and i've needed every minute of it to fully recover. This was my first legitimate music festival and it was a lot to take in. With that said, I would do it all over again this weekend if I could. I had so much fun last weekend, not even the total lack of sleep, the nightly struggles of finding my way home, the $9 beers, or the bird that shat in my eye Friday night will keep me [...]
