Regina Spektor is back with a set of new songs to be releases sometimes May 2012. The new album is called What We Saw From The Cheap Seats . She explained on Facebook: "I'm very excited to say that this summer I recorded a new record with Mike Elizondo in L.A. It's been finished for a little while, but I had no idea when it would be out in the world until now. Regina 's fantastic 2011 electro-pop effort, Soita Mulle , has more than its fair share of hooky singles. On "Mustavalkeaa", singer and indie super babe Ilsa Pykäri sweeps you off your feet with her gentle, echoey vocal scales and coos while her bandmates channel Ivy's Realistic to perfection. auf friendly fire recordings erschien ende september ein album, das wir neben der recht späten erwähnung nun aber auch würdigen wollen. es handelt sich um "soita mulle". eingespielt hat das werk die finnische band regina . das sind iisa pykäri - vocals, mikko pykäri - bass, guitar and programming und mikko rissanen - drums. die drei zirkeln die wellen ihrer lieblichen popmathematik immer enger, so dass am ende der stich geradewegs ins herz geht. wenngleich in finnisch gesungen wird, weiß ich ganz genau, was iisa mir sagen will. mit dem debut "puutarhatrilogia" [...]
