
Got quite into trawling up smashing short songs I have, so here's a few more in varying styles. Starting with 'The Honey's', a 60's girl-group, consisting of Marilyn & Diane Rovell (sisters) and their cousin Ginger Blake. They were produced by Brian Wilson, who as well as writing for them, dated & married Marilyn. The Honeys provided backing vocals on some Beachboys tracks, doing the same for Jan and Dean on three popular singles. I want to write more for this blog, I really do. Like right now, I have a number of good articles in mind ("What makes a good lyricist?," a write-up on the new Okkervil River record leak, baroque pop profiles, etc) but I'm just so very tired.
