Richard & Linda Thompson : Shoot Out The Lights [ purchase ] I was merrily playing air guitar to the mighty riff of Shoot Out The Lights when I got notice of this week's Star Maker theme, so that was an absolute no-brainer. Richard and Linda went their separate ways soon after its 1982 release, but their grand finale lives on gloriously.
