LA's own Bixel Boys have been steadily gaining traction both in their hometown and throughout the blogosphere for the last year or so, but with reworks like their latest "Ride," the road to success won't take too much longer for these two. I saw this list the other day and felt compelled to make a more comprehensive, accurate, and essential rundown of albums that have truly stood out in a musical and historical sense. Albums that are influential, groundbreaking and still memorable. Boston psych-pop veterans Guillermo Sexo Wednesday (yes, Wednesday) release a short set of new material that crackles with vitality, the three-song Bring Down Your Arms EP.
