Goldfrapp might not have concentrated on the artwork too much (it looks too Little Boots for our taste), but we are sure the content will be a return to form. Rockets (formerly know as Discorockets) is a producer from the Portuguese Discotexas collective which you probably know from its two main players Moullinex (now with an extra L!) and Xinobi . Goldfrapp have revealed a few details about their forthcoming new album, ' Head First '. The band's fifth studio album and follow-up to 2008's ' Seventh Tree ' is due out March 22. The first single off the forthcoming album, ' Rocket ', is set for release on March 8. Goldfrapp
Goldfrapp announce their brand new album 'Head First' to be released through Mute on March 23rd, 2010. This will be preceded by the new single 'Rocket' on March 9th, 2010.
Good news for fans of Goldfrapp. According to Pitchfork , the electro duo will release their 5th full length album on March 23rd via Mute. The new LP is titled Head First and has been described as "an Italo-esque disco record that isn't really an Italo-esque disco record and is just in fact a Goldfrapp record, albeit one which sounds a bit like Van Halen vs Laura Branigan." The first single will be "Rocket", due March 9th.

In 2004 MAU (Man and Unable) were created in Denmark before jumping ship to Lisbon, Portugal. Now the group are working on their third album after releasing Man and Unable in 2006, and Tales of Wonder, Fur and Deception in 2008. The Rockets remix is a bit of a playback from the last month but is a great tease for the next album due out in January. The extended dub is really where it's at, but the original remix is pretty decent too and brings in many of the original vocal samples. [...]
