NYC based shoegaze/psych radio show Dream Wave Radio (hosted by Steven Newcastle) and The Deli are sponsoring Brooklyn based international music collective The Process Records ' seasonal showcase, at Cameo Gallery tonight (May 16th). The bands on the bill are Weird Owl (pictured), Baltimore's Romantic States , and recent Deli band of the Month Throw Vision . These three extraordinarily hard working bands' laid back experimental and psych vibes will make for a strong and musically impactful show. Peals is comprised of: William Cashion (of Future Islands ) - electric, acoustic, floating guitars, field recordings, and feedback. and Bruce Willen (ex- Double Dagger ) - guitars, keyboards, walkie-talkies, toy piano, tambourine, feedback, and microphones. The duo is getting ready to put of its first LP, Walking Field via the always radical Thrill Jockey . Baltimore's Romantic States have produced some gorgeous lo-fi gems on this long awaited 6 song EP Still Petals , with internet singles and a S/T full length cassette (only 50 exist!) preceeding it. The EP kicks off with Jim Triplett's perfect mix of soft and speedy in "The Fourth", an uber jingly-jangly jam fest of rapid guitar strums over a sweet and fun melodic dance beat.
