This perfectly disheveled Swedish four-piece have been carving out taut, just-out-of-bed indie-pop for the last few years, culminating in their addictive, sugar-pop debut EP. Since then we've had the standalone, synth-riddled single 'World On Fire', which moved the band on from jerky Strokes-lite indie and into large, widescreen soft-rock. You may have heard of The Royal Concept from the FIFA13 soundtrack, or due to their striking resemblance to Phoenix. Either way, they are an extremely talented group in their own right. Nothing shows this off better than this incredible cover of Daft Punk's stellar tune "Digital Love". Can't believe how much they nail Yngwie Malmsteen's guitar solo!
The Royal Concept have made good on their promise to record a series of fan-requested covers , and lucky for us, one fan was smart enough to request Daft Punk's iconic "Digital Love." The Royal Concept is a new Stockholm-based indie band formed by band members of Robyn, Tove Styrke and Veronica Maggio - in 2011.
