Nah just kidding, I'm still here. OK, so where were we... Actually, in my slack, unexplained absence, this little blog of mine turned 5 years old. Man that freaks me out. It's been really fun having people read the trash that I dump here, and it's certainly brought me a great deal of fame, money and bitches. A wholehearted thanks to everybody whose music I've exploited for my own financial gain, and equal gratitude to everybody who's laid eyes on this monstrosity on more than one occasion. You're all lovely! So yeah, so we [...]

I've finally got off my ass and done a proper DJ mix to showcase a few of the super rad deep sounds coming out of Melbourne at the moment as well as some old faves I've neglected for a long time. I couldn't think of a better way to kick things off than with a couple of Lewie Day productions - the biggest of the big wigs from the past couple of years in Melbourne's deep house scene. From there, there's some stuff from Victorian dudes Weekend Express, Fantastic Man and Sleep D who are all currently killing it. [...]

Happiest man alive right here. SERIOUS, if you're in Sydney start waving your credit card at the screen and buy some tickets from ResidentAdvisor . Horse Meat Disco - Dusty Blue Roxy Music - Love is the Drug (Greg Wilson Edit) Now to [...]

What a wonderful year. I don't know quite how to sum it up, it's just been so completely packed full of astoundingly good music. I'm really happy with the direction everything's gone in terms of this blog and the kind of music I've been digging, and I really really appreciate all you groovy people dropping by and lapping it up. I hope it's been a help to the artists and labels behind the music too, it's so important to support and encourage the people who are responsible for all the beautiful sounds that have been floating around in 2009. It [...]
