Fun Fun Fun Fest is fast becoming one of MOKB's favorite festivals to attend. Every spring, we make our pilgrimage to SXSW for warmer weather, music, and tacos. Slowly, FFFF has become our fall equivalent to bookend our summers. The festival offers so much entertainment with in a relatively small area at Auditorium Shores and you never feel like you are crowded because of excellent scheduling of the stages and artists by the fine folks at Transmission Entertainment. At around 4:15 a.m. Saturday morning, the official Fun Fun Fun Fest app sent a push notification, which is weird because usually there are two things that happen that late over cell phones: emergencies or regrettable judgment calls. I guess you could say this was both. It read , "Hey girl can I com over? I been drinkin bout you. Hollr." Minor set back for this photographer wasn't going to slow me down. I had limited access to photo pits on Friday which luckily was remedied before getting going on Saturday. It meant I got to spend a little more time in the crowd, getting shots of the festival, the people. I did manage to get some musicians doing their thing as well, don't panic.
