She took her name from a character in Wes Anderson 's film Rushmore , which is about an eccentric teenage schoolboy falling in love with his teacher. Her vocals are soft, sultry, deep but at the same time poppy enough to grab the attention of the mass. Her depute album will be released sometime in the end of this year. Max Fischer is a Wes Anderson character from the very, very, very good Rushmore. Someone has a blog dedicated to the idea that the character wrote the underrated-yet-still-conflicti ng Wes Anderson movie The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. I can get down with that idea.

I might as well just have a special section of EMPT dedicated to RAC remixes, these dudes are running a tight ship - producers take note. Whenever I find myself in need of some inspiration, I can always count on the magnificent Bill Murray. I think this goes back to my dad, a former public school history teacher, who had a famous motivational quote from the classic comedy Meatballs (more on that below) tacked up over his desk.
