Had the pleasure of traveling over to the beautiful Governor's Island with Michelle on Saturday to check out Hard NYC which included performances by MIA, Skream & Benga, Die Antwoord, Sleigh Bells, Rye Rye, and many more. I wasn't thoroughly enthusiastic about going to NYC's installment of HARD Summer . Just something about taking a ferry to the small Governor's Island only to be surrounded by personified irony and unbearable heat didn't get me ecstatic. I'm also not a huge fan of neon apparel or accessories. Then there's the fact that I really don't love electro-pop or electronic music in general. This movie is going to suck. Yes. You read that right. To coincide with the A-Team movie coming out later this month, MSTRKRFT , Rye Rye , Dan The Automator and Just Blaze were asked to remix the theme tune. The results are well, a curious listen. Rye Rye's is pretty good actually.
