Hørte jeg dig hviske ”eskapisme”? I så fald kan du med rette sig det højt. En noget hovednavnsløs og musikalsk usammenhængende Pop Revo-festival bød nemlig i høj grad på netop det. Mellem de optrædende på Voxhall var der en fin lille gennemgang af tidligere festivalers lineup, og vi kunne ikke undgå at blive en smule misundelige på dem, der besøgte festivalen da navne som Caribou, Bear In Heaven og Figurines kiggede forbi. Af uransagelige årsager har kun ganske få acts fra hype-labelet Sincerely Yours besøgt Danmark. Med en poppet profil og ubetinget kærlighed til synth, har de seneste 5 år stået i det Göteborg-baserede pladeselskabs tegn. De senere år er det imidlertid kun Pitchfork-favoritterne JJ, der har taget turen over sundet - senest i går på Lille Vega. Det kan undre, for roosteren tæller efterhånden relativt respekterede navne som sidste års albumaktuelle CEO, førnævnte JJ og Memory Tapes (tidligere Weird Tapes/Memory Cassette). Igår kväll blev vi återigen välsignade med godsaker från Sincerely Yours . Albumet a documentation signerat sail a whale står på menyn och förutom tolvtummare med tillhörande bok serveras det även en video för varje låt på plattan. Som smakprov kommer event nedan, medan de resterenade visuella mästerverken hittas här .
