With new albums from Sally Shapiro and Shout Out Louds dropping tomorrow, it’s a great week for Swedish indie pop. Shapiro’s album includes one of my favorite tracks of 2013 thus far, the addictive, pulsating electro-pop track “Starman”, which would have fit perfectly on the Drive Soundtrack (fittingly enough, the track was co-written by “A Real Hero” guests, Electric Youth ). Somewhere Else is out tomorrow on Paper Bag Records .
