This blog has been around long enough that I can say "readers may recall earlier posts" featuring Sally Shapiro. I quite enjoyed the act's recent work with J ohan Agebjorn . I say act because Sally Shapiro is not the singer's name. Or is it? Sally Shapiro is band or possibly a stage name. It's an interesting mystery. Here's something new from the album to be released in February, 2013.
Italo-disco chanteuse Sally Shapiro announced the release of a new LP on February 26th titled Somewhere Else through Paper Bag . The album is her first new release since 2009's My Guilty Pleasure and features guest appearances by Electric Youth, Anoraak, and Le Prix. The first single is the gentle and breezy "What Can I Do."
