Sandman Viper Command - Rough Love This being the second song I'm hearing from Canadian indie-rock band Sandman Viper Command, and I'm becoming overly obsessive. It takes a while to open up in the reserved song, but clicking in somewhere at the 3 minute mark are the release of some retro pop goodness, and then an all out rollicking solo that really makes this song. I can't wait to hear more from this exciting band.

Toronto's Dinosaur Bones played to a packed show at Mavericks on October 7, 2011. They were the second opener for New York's Ra Ra Riot . I've seen Dinosaur Bones various times when they come to Ottawa. It was good a fit for them to open up for Ra Ra Riot. Burlington, Ontario natives Sandman Viper Command win the quirkiest band name award for this year's NXNE (apparently they took it from the movie Outbreak ), but I've been spinning "Oh Yeah, It's Fusion" all morning.
