Happy Friday everyone, welcome to the other side of another long week. As I mentioned earlier, we have a lot of great shows coming up this month, and I've just updated our concert calender in accordance. On Sunday one of my favorite hip hop duos of all time, Black Star, will be stopping by La Olympia and limited tickets are still available. Get on that fast if you're planning on going, hope to see you there. So NT89, one of my favorite producers to keep track of at the moment, has just released his newest Payne [...]

The 34th Starz Denver Film Festival is currently underway until November 14. Even for someone that considers themself to be a "cinephile," the choice in what movie to watch can be rather daunting. You'll find that the Movie Advocate has swell selection in movie options during the festival. Not a lot of big names making their way here like in previous years, but let's hope that the movie choices make up for that. Lana Del Rey - Blue Jeans (Club Clique 'Nothing Is Real' Remix) [...]
So our Director of Business Development, MikeRips, told us about Dj OnLii1 through a buddy of his that works with the Brooklyn house music DJ. He has mostly banging continuous mixes but lately has been putting out a bunch of bootlegs. Bootlegs are basically a few songs re-mixed into one, almost like a mashup but less [...]

In light of Lev's earlier post... I've decided to post Silva's original version of the track: "Epic". Understandably, I've been hearing it everywhere. This song defines one thing... Miami. Best, - Bart Epic (Original Mix) - Sandro Silva & Quintino

If there's one event that you should probably add to your bucket list, it's the Tomorrowland festival in Boom (no, I'm not making that up), Belgium. Since 2005, this EDM event has hosted only the biggest and baddest international DJ's. In July of 2011, 180 thousand people gathered to watch over 250 DJ's, including Swedish Housa Mafia, Avicii, Tiesto, Martin Solveig, David Guetta, Dirty South, Kaskade, Fedde Le Grand, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Dj Chuckie, Laidback Luke, Wolfgang Gartner, and many, many more. All this taking place in a gigantic wooded area, filled with all sort of crazy decors, giant mushrooms, [...]

Well after it's all said and done Electric Zoo weekend was so full of music that I've found it nearly impossible to create a top 3, let alone a top 5… so many artists were great for very different reasons. Regardless of how they put together their sets, they made for an incredible weekend of music, music, music. I will say the one thing about Electric Zoo is, with the size limitation of Randall's Island Park, they are taking away a festival aspect to the event. There should be more things for people to do, it seems that everything other [...]
